Shardlow Crystal Clean Ltd – Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 1/9/2025

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by Shardlow Crystal Clean Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) to our clients (“you”, “your”). By booking or accepting our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services Provided

We provide:

  • Commercial and domestic window cleaning (internal & external).

  • Gutter cleaning services.

  • Drone-assisted roof inspections with photo/video evidence.

Additional services may be offered upon request and will be subject to these Terms.

2. Access to Property

  • You must provide clear, safe access to the property at the agreed time of service.

  • For window cleaning, all windows must be closed. We are not responsible for water ingress due to open windows or poor window seals.

  • For gutter cleaning, access to water and electricity (if required) should be available.

  • For drone inspections, we require safe open access and no interference with the flight path.

If access is restricted or unsafe, we may cancel or reschedule the service and charge a call-out fee.

3. Safety

  • Our team follows health & safety regulations at all times.

  • We use water-fed pole systems, ladders (when required), and drones only in safe weather conditions.

  • Services may be rescheduled due to adverse weather (high winds, storms, heavy rain, or poor visibility).

4. Drones & Roof Inspections

  • Drone flights are carried out in compliance with UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations.

  • Flights will not proceed if weather, air traffic, or local restrictions make conditions unsafe or unlawful.

  • All drone imagery remains the property of Shardlow Crystal Clean Ltd unless agreed otherwise. We grant you a licence to use inspection footage/reports for your personal or business purposes.

5. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Accepted methods: bank transfer, cash, or card payment.

  • For commercial clients, invoices are payable within 14 days of issue.

  • Late payments may incur a 5% monthly charge until cleared.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • You may cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice.

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged up to 50% of the service fee.

  • If we arrive and cannot complete the work due to access issues or unsafe conditions caused by you, the full fee may still apply.

7. Liability & Insurance

  • We carry full public liability insurance.

  • We are not liable for:

    • Pre-existing damage to glass, frames, sills, gutters, or roofs.

    • Leaks due to faulty seals, poor guttering, or defective roofing.

    • Any damage caused by misuse of inspection footage.

  • We will always take care to prevent damage and will report any concerns.

8. Complaints & Service Guarantee

  • If you are not satisfied, you must notify us within 24 hours of the service.

  • We will return to rectify reasonable issues at no additional cost.

  • Complaints made after 24 hours may not be accepted as external factors (e.g., weather, bird droppings, debris) may affect results.

9. Privacy & Data

  • We may collect and store customer details for booking, invoicing, and service purposes.

  • Drone footage or images may be stored securely for reporting and compliance.

  • We will not share your data with third parties unless required by law.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by English law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
